Sydney Sights, Sounds and Hotels

Five years in the building and completed in 1932 Sydney Harbour Bridge provided the first road access to Sydney’s northern suburbs. Soon accepted as Sydney’s most abiding symbol, and affectionately dubbed as ‘The Coat hanger”, the bridge is instantly recognizable worldwide. A spectacular view of the harbour entrance, known as The Heads can be gained from the pedestrian walkway on the eastern side of the bridge. For those with the energy to climb to the top of the bridge’s southeast pylon the view that rewards them is breathtaking.

The Sydney Harbour Bridge is one of the city's most renown landmarks, but there is much more to discover in Sydney city, and there are a wide selection of superior Sydney hotels from where you can explore.
